ABA Support for Adults
We recognize that the needs and learning styles of adults differ from those of children and teens. Therefore, we provide specialized programs designed to address the unique challenges faced by working professionals whose autism symptoms impact their social lives, relationships, and careers. Our services are also aimed at enhancing emotional development, fostering effective communication, building healthy social relationships and reducing outburst.
Common Questions
Who could benefit from our adult services?
Our services are customized to address the unique needs of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. We work with a range of individuals, including those who have recently received a diagnosis and those who have previously benefited from ABA services.
Each individual’s program is tailored to their specific requirements, which are determined through interviews with them, their loved ones, and friends, as well as a battery of assessments. Based on their learning style and unique needs, we select specific programs to help them achieve their goals.
How are services delivered?
Services are offered:
- 1:1 settings at the clinic and community
- Group settings
- Spoucial and caregiver meetings are also available as appropriate to help build ABA skills to support the participant
How are services determined?
1. Intake Questionnaire: All our services begin with an intake questionnaire. Once it’s filled out, we schedule a follow-up call to address any questions the potential participant may have and determine if our services are a good fit.
2. Pre-Service Interview: Following the initial contact, we proceed to the interview phase of the assessment process.
3. Assessment Questionnaires: Based on the information gathered during the interview, assessment questionnaires are emailed to be completed.
4. Observation and In-Person Assessments: After the questionnaires are completed, we schedule the required observation session and in-person assessments.
5. Data Analysis and Report: Once all the data is collected, it is carefully analyzed. We then compile a comprehensive report that summarizes all the information provided, outlines the ABA technologies to be used, and identifies the recommended skills for development.
6. Behavior Plan and Family Support Plan: As part of the report, a behavior plan is developed, and a family support plan is also included to provide comprehensive guidance and support to the participant and their loved ones.
