Parenting a child with autism presents unique challenges, but you’re not alone on this journey. We’ve crafted special training sessions for parents like you, offering support and guidance to navigate through the distinct needs of your child with expertise and ease.

What is Autism and What Will This Diagnosis Mean?

Summary: This course will help you understand the diagnosis and how it may be manifesting in your child. It will also provide some resources you can use as you set up your ABA services.

  • Format: Self-paced, online
  • Duration: 1 hour

What is ABA and What Service Options Are There?

Summary: This course explains what ABA is, it will summarize some of the most popular approaches, provide some guidance to help you determine which program may be the most beneficial to your child based on their presenting needs.

  • Format: Self-paced
  • Duration: 2.5 hours

What is the Sleep Program and What Do I Need to Do?

Summary:This course will review the importance of sleep. And explore the significant impact prolonged poor sleep has on the individual and family. It will also review some basic elements that can be modified to help improve sleep.

  • Format: Self-paced
  • Duration: 1.75 hours

What are Behaviors and The Functions of Behaviors?

Summary: This course explains what we qualify as a behavior, how and why to define them, what are reinforcers, how they contribute to behaviors, and the functions of behaviors

  • Format: Self-paced
  • Duration: 3 hours

Shaping Behaviors and Prompting and Fading Series

Summary: This course will help you understand what shaping, prompting, and fading is and how to use them to help develop your child’s skills. It will provide opportunities to practice each of these and get feedback from a BCBA.

  • Format: Self-paced
  • Duration: 4 hours

Siblings Support Series

Summary: This course is written for sibling to complete. It will help them understand the diagnosis, their feeling about the diagnosis, learn some ways to address their sibling needs and advocate for their own.

  • Format: Self-paced
  • Duration: 1 hour per series

AIM at Home Series

Summary: This course will show you: What each of the tenant of the program is. How to review each in tenant isolation with your child. And how to help your child develop psychological flexibility by using all 6 tenants.

  • Format: Self-paced online
  • Duration: 5 hours

Sleep Program

Summary: A customized sleep program will be created to address your child’s sleep needs. You will be trained in every step of the program and provided with a list of material you will need to have. Regularly scheduled meeting will take place to review the previous days sleep data, answer question, identify and teach any necessary program modification 

  • Format: Virtual
  • Duration: TBD based on individuals’ needs

Balance Program

Summary:This course will be guided by an expert implementor to help parents learn and implement all 10 elements of the program. Parents will be required to record two 5-30 min practice videos onto our designated platform for our BCBA’s review. Parents will be required to implement any modification identified to help achieve the targeted skills for development.

  • Format: Virtual
  • Duration: 14-16 weeks

  • Specialized Feeding Programs: Tailored for individuals who are picky eaters.
  • Sleep Support Services: Assistance for those facing challenges with falling asleep, staying asleep, and managing problem behaviors at night.
  • Daytime Behavior Support: Offering help from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for individuals experiencing aggression, property damage, or self-injury.
  • Teen Social Skills Groups: For ages 12-18, focusing on communication, life skills, executive functioning, and socialization.
  • Adult Autism Support: Emotional regulation, social communication, and skills support for working adults with Autism and other special abilities.
  • Expanded Early Learners & Intensive Programs: Facilitating a second group for early learners and accepting more participants in our SBT and PEAK programs
